Magdalena graduated from law school in May of 2020. She now lives with her husband in Elk Grove Village. In her free time, Magdalena enjoys exercising, doing yoga, and spending quality time with her friends and family.
Magdalena completed her undergraduate studies at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, where she earned a Bachelor of Arts in History and Global Studies with a concentration in Human Rights. She earned her Juris Doctorate Degree from The George Washington University Law School in Washington, D.C.
In law school, Magdalena spent two summers working as a law clerk at the Department of Justice. During her third year, Magdalena was a Student Attorney at the Public Justice Advocacy Clinic, where she represented indigent clients in name change, unemployment, and wage & hour litigation. Magdalena also did pro bono work with the Chicago Legal Clinic, National Immigration Forum, International Refugee Assistance Project, and Innocence Project. Finally, she was the Senior Production Editor on the Journal of Environment & Energy Law, and her article on the Clean Air Act was selected for publication in the Journal’s next edition.
As a litigation attorney at Gardi & Haught, Ltd., Magdalena serves her clients with a focused expertise in the following areas of law: workers’ compensation, personal injury, mass torts, and commercial litigation.
