Joseph currently lives in Chicago and joined Gardi & Haught in 2020.
Joseph received his Bachelor of Arts in History from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign and his law degree from Chicago-Kent College of Law.
Joseph practices several areas of law, including Corporate Law, Commercial and Residential Real Estate, and Landlord/Tenant Law. Joseph began his legal career working as a clerk in a real estate firm located in downtown Chicago. Through his experience he has represented countless clients in the purchase and sale of both commercial and residential properties. Joseph utilizes this expertise to guide clients through what can be a complex and stressful process in order to ensure the culmination of a successful transaction.
In addition to his real estate experience, Joseph has also aided a multitude of clients in the formation of corporate entities, the purchase and sale of corporate assets, and the review and drafting of corporate agreements. He understands that every client’s situation is different and advises them in what corporate entity would best suit their specific requirements. Joseph enjoys drafting, reviewing, and negotiating agreements with opposing counsel so that both parties may come to an amicable agreement.
Lastly, Joseph also represents both landlords and tenants in eviction actions and Landlord/Tenant disputes. Through a thorough review of leases, association documents, and a robust knowledge of law, Joseph is able to determine the best course of action which will be most beneficial to his clients. He understands that Landlord/Tenant disputes can become very personal and aims to ensure that his clients are well informed and supported throughout the process.
